Menagerie Photography was born in 2016 and is owned by me, Maggie Lattin, a Narrabeen resident.
After studying at University of Sydney and then working for many years with National Parks and Wildlife Service, I then attained a Design Diploma at Enmore TAFE. With this experience I then pursued a career in the arts, working in professional theater in props and wardrobe, as a puppet maker and performer at community and music festivals and more. Photography has underpinned both these professions and has been a lifelong love.
AWARDS
After winning a Silver Medal in the 2013 Sydney Morning Herald 1440 Photojournalism challenge, I felt confident to start shooting professionally. My photographic work has been hung a number of times in the Warringah Art Prize. In 2016 I was a finalist in the Ryde Women's Art Prize. In 2018 I received an Honourable Mention in the Portrait Category of the Australian Photography Awards.
